My family visited on a Wednesday morning early lunch. We all loved it very much. The food was hot, the fruit was cold and fresh. We especially liked the soft serve ice-cream. Tasted like our home made ice-cream. Also nice that you can get it to go. A good variety of dishes to choose from. The building was old, but clean. The bathroom was also clean. We will be returning. The staff also opened the door for us and served us with a smile. They took our dirty plates away very quickly, and were always polite. January, 2024.
I'm surprised by the negative reviews. Moved here a year + ago and been here about 10X. The food is good, filling and the price seems fair. I have noticed that if you know what dishes you like best, it's cheaper to get a to - go box and pay by the pound. Doing that, I can eat for $7 to $12 and be very satisfied because I'm just paying for the 3 or 4 items I enjoy the most. It is in a tough neighborhood buy I've never had a problem with the homeless. Staff is typical asian immigrant type who do not have a bubbly personality but are not rude. They are a bit indifferent which can come off as rude but Ive never left there feeling offended by the service.
